Especially in the higher grades. My experience with elementary students has been that they have a more difficult time evaluating themselves and they are harder on themselves than their peers are. This is a great opportunity for students to have positive feedback from peers. I wish i would have done more of this in my regular classroom. It seems that most of the "normal, routine" assessments don't allow for this kind of feedback. I think students get more out of the peer evaluations than any test can ever show! Have a great day!
